I’m a senior journalism student at Hofstra University with a minor in writing studies. I am studying ‘Writing Against Oppression’ to expand my knowledge on the subject and see how society has changed over time, if it has in the first place.

As an editorial intern I have covered all things beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and health for multiple publications including StyleCaster and Romper. I am passionate about both learning and spreading new information, which I plan on doing as I dive deeper into this class on Writing Against Oppression. I look forward to exploring how oppression can be found in relation to these topics I have written about in the past.
